VENÂNCIO COSTA LIMA

This winery produces a number of wine references ranging from Table Wines to Certified Wines (with Designation of Origin) as well as the famous Setúbal Moscatel. With enological help from Fausto Lourenço, this winery makes constant investments in order to maintain quality and produce wines that are modern but preserve this region’s distinctive characteristics.

VENÂNCIO COSTA LIMA - SETÚBAL MOSCATEL RESERVE

Produced from grapes grown in a region with a unique terroir, for years this winery has been producing excellent examples of this generous wine, which stands as a worthy flagship and representative of this is region.
Borne from one of the world’s most aromatic grape varieties, this Moscatel was aged in the barrel for several years. It exhibits unique flavours resulting from a long maturation period.

VENÂNCIO COSTA LIMA - PALMELA RESERVE

Created from the Castelão variety, this is an excellent example of this grape variety. It is an intense, full-bodied wine with great aging potential. The ideal accompaniment for read meat dishes, strong cheeses and game.

VENÂNCIO COSTA LIMA - PALMELA DO

This wine represents the cross between traditional knowledge and modern vinification techniques. Created from the region’s most traditional grape variety - Castelão (Periquita) – this is a wine with an intense aroma and hints of spices and red berries, with a long finish on the palate. The perfect accompaniment for Azeitão cheese.

VALE PEREIRO RED

This is one of the winery’s recent brands. It is the perfect combination of two modern and current grape varieties: Castelão and Aragonez. A modern and flavourful profile, this wine is a sound choice to accompany meat and pasta dishes.

VALE PEREIRO WHITE

This is one of the winery’s recent brands. This wine exhibits the freshness of the Fernão Pires grape variety, combined with the intense aromas of the Setúbal Muscat grape variety. A modern and flavourful profile, this wine is a sound choice to accompany fish, white meat or shellfish dishes.

VALE PEREIRO ROSÉ

Launched in the spring 2013, this wine completes the Vale Pereiro brand. Light, fresh, youthful and fruity, this rosé is an excellent aperitif and a pleasant accompaniment for simple and cool summer meals.

CASAL DO CERRADO RED

This is our winery’s newest brand. It combines two modern grape varieties: Castelão and Aragonez. The result is a modern red wine with a pleasant profile and palate. Gastronomically, this wine accompanies meat and pasta dishes.

This is our winery’s newest brand. It combines both of the region’s most characteristic white grape varieties: Fernão Pires and Setubal Moscatel. The result is a wine with a surprising aromatic intensity and freshness. Gastronomically, it is the ideal accompaniment for fish, white meat or shellfish dishes.

SERRA DO LOURO RED

Bearing the name of the mountain range situated near the location where this winery originated, this is one of the company’s oldest brands. It has since been updated, delivering a wine with an intense aromatic profile, fruity and balanced on the palate. The ideal accompaniment to an informal meal.
